Eligibility Criteria
For Assistant Professor:
- A PhD degree in the relevant field from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), or an equivalent qualification.
- Age between 25 and 45 years.
For Lecturer:
- An MS or MPhil degree with First Class in the relevant subject from an HEC-recognized institute, or an equivalent qualification.
- Age between 21 and 35 years.
- Candidates with a third division anywhere in their academic career are not eligible. However, this restriction is relaxed for candidates in the Chemistry-related group who hold a PhD and have no more than one third division in their entire academic record.
- For the Law Lecturer post, an LLB with first division (or equivalent) is required, and candidates with a third division in their academic career are not eligible.
Other Requirements:
- Government employees who wish to apply must get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department, and their inquiry (if any) should not be pending.
- Experience gained on part-time, honorary, adhoc, internee, visiting faculty, or daily wages basis will not be counted.
- Age relaxation and quota for special persons and women will be given according to the policy of the Government of Punjab.
How to Apply
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official University of Chakwal website. After submitting the online application, candidates must also send two hard copies of the complete dossier by post. Each dossier should include a duly signed application form and the original fee deposit slip.
Along with the application form, candidates need to attach attested copies of their CNIC, domicile, degrees, result cards, transcripts, and their experience certificates. The first page of each research publication (if applicable) should also be attached, along with a valid registration certificate from the relevant professional body, where required.
The processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) must be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Punjab. Employees of the University of Chakwal are exempt from paying this fee. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form and pay a separate fee for each post.
The complete hard copy of the application, along with the required documents, must reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Chakwal, City Campus, Talagang Road, Chakwal, by 04:00 PM on 08 October 2026 (Thursday). Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
