Eligibility Criteria
The required education and experience are different for every position. Senior scientific posts require qualifications such as PhD, MPhil, MS or MSc in biotechnology, microbiology, biological sciences, bioprocess engineering, immunology, virology, veterinary sciences or related fields.
Engineering vacancies require degrees in chemical, mechanical, biomedical, industrial or electronics engineering. The Medical Officer position requires an MBBS degree with successful completion of a house job.
Administrative and finance positions require MBA, MPA, M.Com, B.Com or an equivalent qualification. Technical and support positions are available for candidates with DAE, Intermediate, Matric or Middle education.
Depending on the post, the required experience ranges from no previous experience to 20 years. Senior Deputy Chief Scientist posts require 15 to 20 years of relevant experience. Several scientific and technical positions require two to five years of experience.
All degrees and certificates must be issued by institutions recognized by the relevant authorities, including HEC, PEC, PMDC, PVMC, Pharmacy Council or technical education boards.
