Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying. Each post has different education, experience, and age requirements.
For the Registrar (BPS-19) post, candidates can apply with a PhD degree from an HEC-recognized institution along with eight years of post-qualification experience in administration or teaching. Candidates with MS or MPhil need ten years of post-qualification experience in administration or teaching at BS-17 or above. Candidates with a Master’s degree need twelve years of relevant post-qualification experience at BS-17 or above. The age limit for this post is 35 to 55 years.
For the Controller of Examinations (BPS-19) post, the qualification and experience requirements are almost similar to the Registrar post. The candidate should also have good knowledge of annual and semester examination systems used in universities. The age limit is 35 to 55 years.
For the Deputy Registrar (BPS-18) post, candidates should have at least a second division Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. They must also have seven years of office experience. Out of this experience, at least three years should be in Scale-17 in a university, government, semi-government organization, or educational institution.
For the Estate Officer (BPS-17) post, candidates should have B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture with Horticulture as a major subject. Candidates with a Master’s degree or 16 years of schooling with at least second division may also apply if they meet the required conditions. Five years of experience in estate management is also required.
For the Research Assistant (BPS-16) posts, candidates should have a Master’s degree with at least second division or B.Sc. (Hons.) qualification. The age limit mentioned for this post is 18 to 35 years.
